M51 (Hubble)
This beautiful Hubble Space Telescope image shows the Whirlpool Galaxy, which is interacting with the smaller galaxy on the right. Also known by its catalog number M51, the galaxy is in the constellation of Canes Venatici and is estimated to be roughly 23 million light years away.
